Cisco Eligibility criteria for Freshers
The eligibility criteria for freshers candidates to attend the Cisco recruitment process is as follows
- Students pursing B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 70% or above in 10th and 12th.
- Candidates should have a CGPA of 7 or above in the pursuing degree and no current atkt.
Recruitment Process:
Cisco hiring freshers for some specific job roles. The eligibility criteria, salary offered & skills required are different for different roles. We are discussing the Recruitment Process for fresher.
- Online Test: MCQ + Coding Question Round
- Technical Round
- Managerial Round
- HR Round
Note: This recruitment process takes 2–3 months.
Online Test: MCQ + Coding Question Round
This round consists of approximately 50 questions. It consists 3 basic sections without any negative marking

Aptitude Test: Questions about some specific topic such as Probability, Permutations and Combinations, Algebra, Simple & Compound Interest, Number Series, Profit and Loss, etc.
Technical Test: Questions about some specific topic such as Computer Networking, C, Algorithms, Data Structures as well as digital electronics, CMOS and Microprocessor, etc.
Note: No negative marking.
Technical Round
In the technical round, the interviewer may be online/offline, it may ask a lot of questions on various topics
- Your CV should be in a good format and all the details mentioned in your CV should be there. Questions are usually asked from projects, internships or training mentioned in the CV.
- Knowledge about the company.
- It will also asks some questions on basic principles of computer like data structure and algorithms, operating system, algorithms, database management, networking etc.
- This round also contains the actual coding problem and want solution of this problem.
Note: It requires around 50 minutes.
Managerial Round
Which is a mix of technical as well as many other questions to measure your loyalty, eagerness, determination and enthusiasm to work at Cisco. Managerial skills related question such as teamwork, project leading, cooperation, discipline etc.

HR Round
In this round, HR will usually question you about the job role, they are followings
- Tell me about your self,
- why do you want to join Cisco,
- Challenges you face in project
- Resume related questions,
- Strengths and weaknesses
- What are your expectations from this role?
- Some question from technical
- Salary expectations
- Some Question related from family and friends
